Sincerus (2015)
I started at Sincerus during my specialization internship, focusing on cybersecurity. My focus was on the Security Operations Center (SOC), where I gained experience in network security. After my internship, I stayed on for a summer job and worked at CyberMonitor in Enschede. Here, I expanded my knowledge of various aspects of security.
IBM CIC Groningen (2016 - 2020)
Through my graduation internship at the RDW, I joined IBM. I worked on a blockchain project related to bicycles and developed code in collaboration with the CIC. After graduation, I continued as a blockchain developer at the CIC. Additionally, I worked on TypeScript backends and Angular frontends. Eventually, I became the lead developer for several projects, where I learned a lot about system architecture and team management.
RDW (2020 - 2022)
As a software engineer at the RDW, I gained extensive experience working with robust systems with high uptime. I became well-acquainted with these systems through daily use. My work primarily focused on Angular and partly on C# and .NET. I also gained experience in writing and reviewing automated tests.
Astra Protocol (2022 - 2024)
At Astra Protocol, I was a development lead. My tasks were broad: architecture, development processes, tooling, reviews, supplier assessment, and team leadership. Additionally, I programmed whenever possible. We used AWS, NestJS, Angular, Concourse, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Docker, Terraform, and Lucidchart. I led a team of 2 permanent employees and 10 to 12 contractors.
